How East Haven Limited handles website enquiries and related personal information.

Last updated: 28 September 2026

Who is responsible

East Haven Limited is the controller for personal information handled through this website and its initial business enquiries. Company number: 11856319. Registered office: 3 Riley House, 6 Headlam Avenue, London SW4 8FG. Contact us at info@easthavenuk.com.

Information we receive

If you use our enquiry form, email or telephone us, we receive the contact details and information you choose to provide, such as your name, email address, service of interest, requirements and correspondence. The website form sends your enquiry to our company email address using Contact Form 7. Direct email and telephone links open your own email or calling application. Please avoid sending sensitive documents with an initial enquiry.

Our hosting and security services may record technical information such as IP addresses, requested pages, browser details, timestamps and error or security events. This helps deliver and protect the website.

Why we use information

  • Enquiries: to respond and discuss your requirements. We rely on legitimate interests in managing business enquiries, or steps you request before a contract with you.
  • Business relationships: to arrange and administer agreed services. The basis is contract where you are the contracting individual; for company representatives, our legitimate interests in managing the relationship.
  • Security: to maintain and protect the website and investigate misuse, based on legitimate interests in secure operations.
  • Legal requirements: to meet applicable record-keeping obligations and respond to lawful requests.

Providing enquiry information is voluntary, but we may be unable to respond without sufficient contact details. Where an engagement involves additional categories of information or processing on a client’s behalf, we will explain the relevant arrangements separately.

Who may receive information

Information may be handled by our website hosting provider, SiteGround, and by the email, telephone and IT providers needed to receive and manage your enquiry. We may share relevant information with appointed professional advisers or authorities where necessary for an agreed matter or a legal requirement. Access should be limited to what is needed for the purpose.

Overseas processing

Some service providers may process information outside the UK. Where a restricted international transfer is required, an applicable UK adequacy arrangement or appropriate safeguards must be in place. Contact us for details of the arrangements relevant to your information.

How long information is kept

We retain enquiry records while responding and for a proportionate period needed for follow-up or to resolve issues. If an enquiry becomes an engagement, relevant information forms part of the engagement records. Retention depends on the purpose, the relationship, applicable record-keeping requirements and any unresolved complaint or claim. Technical records are retained according to their operational and security purpose and the provider’s retention arrangements. Information no longer needed is deleted or anonymised, subject to backup cycles and any continuing legal requirement.

Cookie policy

Essential cookies and storage support functions such as WordPress administration, sign-in and security. We also save your privacy choice in your browser using local storage under eh-cookie-choice-v1, for up to 180 days. This records whether you allow optional Google Maps content and when your choice expires.

Google Maps is optional and is not loaded until you allow it and select “Load Google Map”. Loading it connects your browser to Google, shares technical information including your IP address, and may allow Google cookies or similar technologies. Google handles this information under its own privacy arrangements, which may involve processing outside the UK.

Select “Reject optional” to keep Google Maps off, “Accept optional” to permit it, or “Preferences” to choose. Use “Cookie settings” in any footer to change or withdraw your choice. Withdrawal removes a loaded map from the current page and prevents future map loading; cookies already set by Google can be removed using your browser settings. Contact details and the enquiry form remain available without enabling the map.

The website does not add analytics or advertising tags through this cookie control. Any future introduction of these technologies will require updated information and controls. External links, including LinkedIn, take you to services with their own privacy and cookie arrangements.

Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, you can request access, correction, erasure, restriction or portability of your personal information. Where processing relies on consent, you can withdraw it without affecting earlier lawful processing.

Right to object: you can object to processing based on legitimate interests on grounds relating to your circumstances. You can also object to direct marketing at any time.

Send requests to info@easthavenuk.com. We may need to confirm your identity. You can raise a concern with us or complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.

Changes to this notice

We will update this notice when the website or relevant information-handling arrangements change. The date above identifies the latest revision.
